We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechatronics Engineer to join our warehousing team. As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced automation systems and machinery within our warehouse facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand warehousing needs, including process optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Design, develop, and test mechatronic systems, including robotics, conveyors, automated storage systems, and material handling equipment.
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components to create seamless and efficient automated solutions.
- Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) to control and monitor equipment and systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnose technical issues, and perform repairs and maintenance as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the development and implementation of mechatronic systems.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source and select appropriate components and equipment.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in mechatronics and warehouse automation technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining mechatronic systems, preferably within a warehousing or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of robotics, automation, control systems, and mechanical design principles.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs.
- Familiarity with CAD software for creating 2D and 3D designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work within project timelines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
